I am able to see the depth frames, but they appear in the PyGame window truncated, although the size of the frame is x as it should be. I don't have reputation to comment. So I write it here. Then I uninstalled bit version and installed the bit Anaconda. It solves the problem, though I don't know why we cannot use bit Anaconda, which also includes NumPy. I have the same issue.

I have a Bit Anaconda installed, and I tried to set up a separate Bit environment with it, but the same assertion error keeps popping up. I can not uninstall my Anaconda, because I have it set up for other projects needing Bit.

Enables writing Kinect applications, games, and experiences using Python. Inspired by the original PyKinect project on CodePlex. Only color, depth, body and body index frames are supported in this version. PyKinectBodyGame is a sample game. It demonstrates how to use Kinect color and body frames. I no longer have a Kinect around, otherwise I might've forked it and started maintaining it. To work around this limitation, you can zip up the fixed python package and install it via pip install. Maybe start for the start and create a new environment with Python 2. Easiest way to do this is to use anaconda to isolate and start with a fresh version of python.
